My Metis Story follows the journey of our National Director, Crystal Lavallee

Join Crystal Lavallee, as she travels to a special event tucked in the Southern Foothills of Alberta. ‘The Hills Are Alive’ has been around for 14 years and garnered the participation of many across the country! This quaint event overflowing with culture, has been described by all who attend as an authentic experience that feels like home.
This new project by I Am Compelled, will film and produce 5 main stories that capture the excitement of Metis culture, language and music! The 5 stories will be narrated on the land by Crystal and packaged into a 30-minute documentary-style resource for Secondary Schools, Elementary Schools as well as municipalities, businesses and organizations.
